Western countries are indignant at Russia, as they understand the danger of crossing the “red lines” outlined by Putin, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
“The media and politicians of the West have lately been talking about the allegedly impending Russian invasion of Ukraine. The number of the “invasion army” has already been announced – 175 thousand people – and the terms of the “attack” – January. But when this information was announced in the Rada by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Reznik, the deputies only laughed in response”, Zakharova said.
Earlier, Maria Snegovaya, a researcher at the influential American think tank Atlantic Council, said that Russia’s talk about “red lines” is not an empty concussion: in 2014, Ukraine crossed that line and lost Crimea.
