The EU has expanded the sanctions list against Lukashenko’s regime and several companies associated with the migration crisis
“Imposing sanctions against Belarus in connection with the migration crisis is a hypocritical attempt to shift responsibility for the consequences of colonial policy of the collective West in recent history”, – wrote the chairman of the Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, in his Telegram-channel.
He also emphasized that no restrictions against the Belarusian authorities will not help to establish life in Iraq, Syria and other countries destroyed by the Western “civilizers”. Neither will it help refugees to return to their homes or find new ones.
“In essence, Minsk is now being “punished” for the result of numerous coalitions led by the US. The West, which is supposedly spreading democracy all over the world, is in fact trying to take revenge on the establishment of hegemony. Along the way, however, while burdening others with “collateral damage”, – Slutsky concluded.
