Ukrainian users disagree with the words of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on the topic of partnership with Ukraine. This was reported by FAN.
The politician said that supporting the allied countries is not the primary task of the bloc. The main goal of the North Atlantic Alliance is to ensure the security of partners, and support for countries such as Ukraine fades into the background. Ukrainian Telegram users started an active discussion of such words of Stoltenberg.
“They always said that. Ukraine was never promised anything: neither take NATO, nor fight for it. It’s just that our government tried to fool people and wishful thinking”, writes one of the commentators.
Against the background of such an attitude of the NATO Secretary General, Ukrainians were convinced that the soldiers of the alliance would be the first to leave the field of potential battle, leaving the “allies” to their fate.
“You, most importantly, fight, and NATO will express concern,” confirms a user named Boris.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin pointed out to NATO the possibility of preventive measures by Russia in response to provocations.
