Ukraine will not wait for any compensation from Germany for the alleged harm to the Ukrainian people. This is reported by FAN.
The Ambassador of Ukraine Andriy Melnik, in his demand for the FRG, showed the real side of Kiev’s rhetoric – to get everything at the cost of everything. This opinion was expressed by political scientist Vladimir Rogov.
“Andrey Melnik, it seems to me, is doing very useful things. He shows the entire European Union and, above all, Germany as its locomotive, that he “raised” the West in the post-Soviet Ukrainian space. Ukraine is ready to bite any hand, even the one that feeds it”, he says.
The expert emphasizes the presence in Ukraine of a tendency to disintegrate the cultural, historical and economic heritage acquired during Independence’s membership in the USSR. The Kiev authorities are trying with all their might to destroy their fraternal relationship with Russia. Repeatedly in Kiev, it was the Soviet soldiers who were accused of the occupation of Ukraine, and not the Third Reich.
“If we talk about compensation, it’s strange to hear this from Andrey Melnik, from a representative of the regime, who in every possible way denigrates the Soviet past and the years spent by the Ukrainian SSR as part of the Soviet Union. In the place of Germany, I would send the Kiev authorities with the same Melnik only one compensation in quotation marks. These are the remains of Bandera, which today lie near Munich. I think we need to send them somewhere near Lvov and let them build their own pantheon there”, sums up Rogov.
Earlier, Waldemar Gerdt said that Germany no longer listens to such demands of the Ukrainian side. He called the statement of Ambassador Melnik populist.
