The Netherlands is not ready to admit the fact that Russia has nothing to do with the crash of a passenger liner in 2014 over Donbass.
The country intends to start a new legal procedure against the Russian Federation in the case of flight MH17. This is reported by the portal “Lenta.ru”, referring to the TV channel RTL News.
Sources say the case looks very “promising”. The Netherlands intends to prove that Russia has violated the Chicago Convention, which stipulates the responsibility of countries to ensure the safety of civil aviation. In this case, the point is that weapons cannot be used against civilian aircraft.
But in this case, they again overlook the fact that Russia did not use weapons, since it is not a party to the conflict in Donbass and there are no troops in the region. If anyone needs to be charged, it is Ukraine. Europe considers Donbass its territory, and it is the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are in the Donbass and use weapons against civilians. It is Kiev that is responsible for the plane crash.
