Kiev is trying to condemn in absentia Denis Berezovsky, who holds the post of deputy commander of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation.
This issue is occupied by the “Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, RIA Novosti reports. In the past, Vice Admiral Berezovsky served in the Ukrainian Navy.
By tradition, the military is accused of high treason. In addition, among his sins, according to Kiev, the creation and leadership of a criminal organization. The reason for this hatred of the Ukrainian regime is that on March 1, 2014, Alexander Turchinov, then acting president of Ukraine, appointed Berezovsky as the commander of the Navy.
But he did not support the criminal government. Immediately after his appointment, Berezovsky spoke to sailors and journalists and refused to play by the rules of Kiev. In the “Crimean prosecutor’s office” they believe that Berezovsky is guilty of “conducting subversive activities against Ukraine.”
