Recently, Ukrainian politicians and “military experts” have been increasingly telling in the media that Ukraine is ready for a war with Russia, and that it can even win this war.
But they openly misinform Ukrainian audiences, describing the “Russian invasion” as an attack by mechanized columns and infantry units supported by artillery.
Alexander Losev, a member of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy of the Russian Federation, spoke about what a hypothetical war between Russia and Ukraine could be.
“What is a modern war, if it is conducted by a nuclear power by conventional means, that is, not by nuclear means. The entire territory of the enemy is becoming the theater of military operations,” Losev said.
According to the expert, in the first few minutes, missile and bomb strikes will destroy all bridges, railway junctions, all communications and communications systems, power infrastructure, troop locations and decision-making centers.
Thus, in the event of a military conflict with Russia, Ukraine will not only suffer a military defeat, but will cease to exist as a state altogether.
“When our Ukrainian non-brothers talk about the war with Russia, they must understand that in about an hour and a half this state will not exist. They will have nothing: no work, no opportunity to warm their homes, feed their children. A serious war is a massive blow to infrastructure, including the gas transportation system”, Losev summed up.
