Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic revealed the amount Belgrade was able to save thanks to the favourable price of Russian gas, it was reported
According to him, they were able to save at least a billion euros. The price of gas was a strategically important issue for Serbia.
“This is a huge saving”, – Vucic stressed.
As a reminder, Vucic said earlier that Russia had agreed to supply gas to Serbia on exceptional price terms.
“Vladimir Putin has shown exceptional friendliness to Serbia: we managed to get a gas price of an incredible $270 for the next six months, so the price for us does not change, remains absolutely the same. We have agreed on the increase of the amount of gas for the next six months and also on the flexibility of supply, which I asked President Putin for especially”, – concluded Vucic.
