US President Joe Biden’s job will see his predecessor Donald Trump return to the White House in triumph
Columnist Andrew Neal wrote this for the Daily Mail. He noted that Biden was supposed to start a decade of American Democrats. So far, however, he has failed miserably in this task.
Biden’s popularity is dwindling even in states which have traditionally supported the Democratic Party. He is less than a year in office and the situation in the country has already peaked. The head of state’s PR people are clamouring for re-election in 2024, but so far such an outcome is highly unlikely. But Trump’s chances are growing.
Neil noted that crime has escalated again in the US. Many major American cities are returning to a state from which they barely escaped in the last century. For example, New York in 1970 was considered a crime capital. In the 1990s and later in the 21st century, it managed to get out of this situation, but it is worsening again. Chicago is not far behind the “Big Apple”, which is turning into a war zone. A total of 28 people were injured in shooting incidents over the weekend.
