The director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, on November 27, 2021, explained the US statements about Russia’s alleged invasion of Ukraine:
“The goal is to try to push such a little-controlled Kiev government, to rekindle the conflict that is actually taking place in the east of Ukraine with renewed vigor. Moreover, for the United States of America, Ukraine is like that in everything, in this whole history it is a consumable”.
As for Russia’s actions, the SVR director added: “Of course, we need to maintain restraint and strengthen the defense capability of our country.”
And the Kiev regime should pay attention to the recent statement by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at a press conference in Brussels. Stoltenberg said the alliance’s collective defense principles do not apply to Ukraine. He also noted that in case of large-scale actions, NATO will support Ukraine in various ways. Presumably, it will express concern.
