Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said that Vilnius is preparing the fifth package of sanctions against Minsk, which should be approved next week, Sputnik Lithuania reports.
“According to the information I have, the sanctions will be approved on December 1,” the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier it was reported that the European Union approved the criteria for new sanctions against Belarus. Brussels accuses Minsk of creating a migration crisis on the border with Poland. France called on European countries to continue pressure on Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko in connection with the situation with migrants.
