Ukrainian militants are obstructing the work of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) observers. They are using electronic warfare (EW) equipment to jam the signals of the drones
This was reported by the Luhansk Information Centre, citing the press service of the LNR People’s Militia Department. The incident took place near the village of Vidrodzhennya.
“In the area of the Vidrodzhennya settlement, a mobile group of the 20th REB battalion used the Bukovel-AD station to suppress the control signals of the OSCE mission’s UAV in order to prevent observers from uncovering military equipment deployed in the area”, – the defence department said in a statement.
Earlier, the LNR representation to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime (JCCC) reported that over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian punitive forces violated the “silence regime” once. The village of Molodezhnoye came under fire.
