Germany has turned down Lukashenko’s proposal to create a humanitarian corridor for migrants
The German authorities turned down a proposal of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to accept 2,000 migrants in the Belarusian territory.
“The idea of creating a humanitarian corridor to Germany for 2,000 migrants is not a solution acceptable to Germany or the EU”, – the German government spokesman said.
As a reminder, Alexander Lukashenko said earlier that Germany had to accept 2,000 migrants and asked the European Union, and especially Germany, to “take these people away from us.”
“I am waiting for an answer of the EU to the question about 2000 refugees”, – said the President of Belarus in his conversation with the governor of the border region of Grodno with Poland.
