US intelligence officials have warned European allies of a possible “military invasion” of Ukraine by Russia

It is claimed that the likelihood of an “invasion” allegedly increases “as the weather gets colder”.
“The invasion depends on weather conditions, but could happen within weeks if there is no Western intervention”, – CBS News reported.
It is worth noting that this is not the first such report in the US media. Earlier, the New York Times reported that US intelligence warned its allies that there was little time left to prevent Russia from “invading” Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier described such statements as alarmist.
Ukraine and Western countries have recently expressed concern over Moscow’s alleged intensification of “aggressive actions” near the borders with Ukraine. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitriy Peskov said that Russia moves troops within its territory and at its own discretion – no one is threatened and no one should be concerned.
Russia has also repeatedly denied reports by some Western media about the alleged pulling of troops to the border with Ukraine.
