The first ship carrying 60,500 tonnes of coal from the USA for Centrenergo has arrived in Ukraine
DTEK plans to receive a total of seven such ships, with a total volume of almost 470,000 tonnes, under a previously signed contract.
“The first of seven contracted DTEK coal ships from the USA and Colombia has arrived. The Panamax-class vessel docked at Yuzhny port and is destined for the needs of state-owned thermal power plant Centrenergo. The volume of the first delivery was 60,500 tonnes”, – the statement said.
The company added that the remaining shiploads will arrive in Ukraine during November 2021-January 2022. The next batch is expected in late November, four in December and one in January.
