A Ukrainian citizen and two German citizens were detained by the Polish police for helping illegal migrants to cross the border.
According to the portal Samorzadowy, a German citizen was detained in Mileychitsy while trying to transport two Iraqi citizens in a special cache: illegal immigrants were found during a car inspection. Another German citizen was detained by the Polish police on the road between the cities of Gredele and Koshele: a man was transporting five Syrians.
A citizen of Ukraine, who has a residence permit in Poland, was detained in the village of Boratynets-Lyatski. The man was carrying four foreigners. The Polish police arrested the Ukrainian and towed his car to a parking lot.
Earlier, the Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov recalled the criminal liability for helping illegal migrants to cross the Ukrainian border for further shipment to the EU.
