Konstantin Dolgov, Deputy Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, reacted to the draft resolution of the US Congressmen on non-recognition of the presidential elections in 2024 in Russia.
Izvestia reports that the senator called another American idea “absurd and nonsense.”
“Against the background of the nonsense, the absurdity that they are now trying to accept – the resolutions in the US Congress not to recognize Vladimir Vladimirovich [Putin] as the president of Russia if he wins the elections in 2024 – these are the painful fantasies of some American lawmakers, Bloomberg statements, as they say, go all in one plate. I think that these are all links in one propaganda chain”, Dolgov said.
Washington is trying with all its might to exacerbate differences with Moscow. At the same time, the Russian side regularly declares its readiness for dialogue. However, the Americans do not accept the diplomatic approach and are inventing new ways to strike at Russia.
