EU comes up with a new program to counter the “open door” policy

The European Union is trying to fight the migration crisis. In 2022, carry out several operations against, which should reduce the flow of refugees.

Portal 112 reports about it, referring to EUobserver. During this process, more than 1.4 thousand arrests are going to be made. The document talks about 30 prepared plans.

Part of the program will be implemented under the auspices of individual states, while the other will be supervised directly by EU authorities: the European Police Agency and the EU border control agency Frontex.

It is worth noting that the plans include performance indicators. That is, the program participants will report on how many people they detained, how many false documents were seized and how many investigations they conducted.
