The West will try to shift the responsibility for the energy crisis in Europe onto Russia until the very end. Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov is convinced of this.
Izvestia reports the politician’s words and notes that after the decision to suspend the certification of Nord Stream 2, gas prices increased by another 18%. However, Brussels still refuses to admit the obvious: the Russian Federation has nothing to do with the catastrophic situation and the blame lies with the EU and the United States.
“As soon as it became known that Germany had suspended the certification of Nord Stream 2, gas prices in Europe jumped by another 18%. At the same time, gas reserves in European gas storage facilities before the cold winter are clearly insufficient. This is the question of who is responsible for the crisis”, Pushkov wrote on his Telegram page.
Russia has not stopped supplying gas to Europe and fulfills all the conditions of the existing agreements. Moreover, after the launch of SP-2, it will be able to increase the volume of fuel for the Europeans.
Brussels does not yet understand that today the Russian gas pipeline is a reliable way to solve the problems that have swept Europe. Instead of speeding up its launch, it tries to slow it down. However, it is not Russia that suffers from this, but the EU.
