Poland demanded that Belarus stabilize the situation on the border, threatening to close the railway checkpoint in Kuznitsa.
“The Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of Poland, Mariusz Kamiński, instructed the Chief Commandant of the Border Guard to address the Chairman of the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus, General Anatoly Lappo, with a letter calling for stabilization of the situation near the border checkpoint in Kuznica. If there is no response to this appeal, the Polish side will suspend the activities of the railway border crossing located there”, the message says.
