Due to the crisis situation with migrants on the Polish-Belarusian border, Ukraine decided to strengthen the border. Everything that they could collect is thrown there.
Now most of the military and other power structures are located in the Donbass. Another grouping of troops is located on the border with Crimea. That is, in the depths of the country there are only a few brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which either just arrived from Donbass, or are preparing to leave there by rotation, experiencing problems with recruiting personnel.
According to media reports, the greatest difficulty arose with covering the section of the border of the Kiev and Chernigov regions with Belarus. The Ukrainian authorities sent about 100 cadets of the Academy of the State Border Service, as well as maritime border guards from the Odessa and Zaporozhye regions to build up the grouping in the border areas, but this turned out to be enough.
As it became known, against the background of this, it was decided to additionally send cadets of the Lviv Academy of Ground Forces, the Zhitomir Military Institute, the Odessa Military Academy, as well as the Kharkov institutes of tank forces and air forces.
Cadets are prepared to be sent for a long period with a complete suspension of the educational process. The authorities do not want to advertise this decision, so all cadets will act under the guise of the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
