Russia’s anti-satellite weapons make the US seriously nervous – Chinese analysts

The United States and other NATO countries are vulnerable to Russia due to their dependence on military satellite systems

This is the conclusion made by experts of Chinese publication Asia Times

Chinese analysts noted that Russia’s anti-satellite weapons are making the Pentagon seriously nervous. Meanwhile, the command of the US Space Forces has repeatedly expressed concern over the matter.

“The United States relies on satellites more than any other country in the world. Satellites are not just a key link in communications. They are critical to the organisation and conduct of modern military operations”, –  the publication says.

Experts believe that in the event of a conflict, the US army’s dependence on satellites would be a serious advantage for Russia. The U.S. armed forces may be on the verge of destruction if Moscow delivers a crushing blow to the Pentagon’s satellites.
