State Department closely monitors Russian Federation’s “steps” on border with Ukraine
State Department spokesman Ned Price said that the US administration will closely monitor Russia’s further actions in the coming days and weeks, commenting on the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border.
“We will be closely monitoring further actions that Russia will take in the coming days and weeks”, – the State Department said, commenting on developments on the Russia-Ukraine border situation, including the US administration’s approach to building further relations with them in light of these developments.
According to Price, in the course of bilateral contacts with Russia, the US side delivered that “aggressive or provoking escalation actions by Moscow will cause and cause concern, including from some European partners and US allies”.
