Britain’s secretary of state for defence arrives in Ukraine

British Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace has arrived in Kiev on a working visit, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has said

“On November 16, a delegation from the UK Ministry of Defence began a working visit to Ukraine. [Ukrainian Defence Minister] Oleksiy Reznikov and Ben Wallace laid flowers at the Stella with the Remembrance Bell”, –  the ministry said.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that not all of Kiev’s Western “partners” were ready to assist in the defence sector. According to him, many of them “through economic measures and political messages”.

Political commentator Borys Dzherelyevskyy said that Western countries would not engage in a full-scale military conflict in a rush to “protect” Ukraine. According to readers of the Chinese publication Guancha, the United States is deliberately “pouring oil on the fire” by supplying Kiev with military aid in the form of ammunition.
