An English taxi driver prevented a terrorist attack. In the city of Liverpool, a driver locked a suicide bomber in the car, which eventually exploded.

The ZNAK portal reports about the incident, referring to the Vesti publication. According to media reports, the taxi driver was carrying a passenger in one of the crowded places in Liverpool.

At some point, the man noticed that his client was very nervous. He jumped out of the car and locked it. After that, an explosion thundered. The bomber died, and the driver escaped with minor injuries.

Local journalists suggest that the militant’s target was the center of Liverpool. Many people gathered there on Memorial Day. However, during the trip, the terrorist asked to go not there, but to the hospital. Law enforcers are already investigating what happened. The police were able to identify and arrest three alleged accomplices of the offender.
