Russia to deliver vaccines to Donbass to fight COVID

The Russian side is ready to do everything necessary to provide the republics of Donbass with vaccines against COVID-19.

This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president. Thus, he commented on the information that the drug had run out in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Izvestia reports.

“Ukraine does not offer to provide Donbass with vaccines, as for the Russian Federation – in terms of humanitarian assistance, the Russian Federation will do everything possible,” he said.

Peskov noted that there are indeed difficulties in the LPR and DPR, and there are not enough vaccines to inoculate everyone. However, Moscow will do everything in its power to ensure the delivery of medicines in the near future and help the republics in the fight against the pandemic
