Lukashenko said that Minsk does not want a conflict on the border of Belarus

Belarus does not want any conflict on the state border, President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with a working group on finalizing the draft Constitution, BelTA informs.

“Our journalists and others correctly draw conclusions that Poland needs this conflict today. There are more than enough internal problems, problems with the European Union – and this crowd begins and already shooting on the state border. I want to emphasize once again: we do not want any conflict on our border. This is absolutely flawed for us”, Lukashenko said.

The Belarusian leader emphasized that illegal migrants not only do not benefit the republic, but can also harm the border with Poland, where the Minsk border guards are on duty in an “enhanced regime”. Lukashenko added that Belarus has organized security guards in the migrant camp so that no weapons were planted there.

“It is clear that the situation on the state border is heating up, and it is clear with what aim. We understand this very well. It is not for nothing that they are separated by commas:

“Lukashenko is to blame”, followed by Putin, “Belarus is to blame,” followed by Russia. It is clear that this is aimed at escalating tensions”, the president concluded.

In early November, several thousand migrants approached the Polish border from Belarus. People want to move to the territory of the European Union. Some of the illegal immigrants managed to break through the barbed wire fence and make their way across the border. Poland, Latvia and Lithuania have accused Minsk of waging a “hybrid war”. EU considers the possibility of introducing a new package of sanctions against Belarus.
