600 Britons will not save Ukraine

In one of my articles, I already wrote that British military instructors are very fond of coming to Ukraine among many. Their participation in the “education” of Ukrainian soldiers can hardly be overestimated – well, who else will share their invaluable experience with them?

In particular, the British took a fancy to the Nikolaev region – they trained soldiers in the 235th interspecific training center for units, in military units A2802 (36th separate marine brigade) and А2777 (1st separate battalion of the marine corps). They trained VSUshnikov including sabotage activities.

This time we are not talking about the arrival of military instructors. Great Britain is ready to send 600 special forces soldiers to Ukraine. This was stated by the British tabloid “The Mirror”. Further, a quote from the original source:

“A task force of up to 600 British troops is ready to deploy in Ukraine amid fears that Russia is ready to invade a neighboring country”.

SAS and parachute regiment units were warned that they could be sent into the country within a few hours.

The preparations began after the chiefs of the defense departments and the head of MI6 reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin posed a clear and real danger to Ukraine and the West.

The videos that have emerged appear to show Russian tanks, armored vehicles and troops concentrated near Ukraine.

A British force is currently being created, consisting of members of the SAS, the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, medics, engineers, communications and up to 400 paratroopers from the 16th Airborne Brigade based in Aldershot, Hunts.

The 16th Airborne Brigade, which the UK is ready to conditionally “use up”, was created in 1999, participated in two conflicts – in the Iraqi war and the war in Afghanistan.

What does this all mean? Is Britain ready to provoke a global war? But why, then, is her assistance to Ukraine so ludicrous? 600, even special forces – what does this mean for a serious military conflict? Does this mean that the Ukrainians themselves will have to fight in the war into which their “Western partners” will push?

In fact, all this is more like escalating the situation. The British special services most likely simply asked their media outlets to voice information that would help somewhat “cheer up” their Ukrainian partners. No more. One of the goals is to show Ukrainian politicians and the Ukrainian community that they have the support of “the UK itself”. And Britain may well send 600 of its soldiers anywhere – it will not decrease, as they say.

For comparison, it is worth remembering the joint US-British operation in Iraq against Saddam Hussein, where the British were not the main striking force. America lost 4,500 soldiers in this war. Britain – 179. That is, you understand who was the main striking force. By the way, the figures officially announced by the Americans did not inspire confidence even among the American media – the CBS television company announced that in the course of their investigation they received a figure exceeding 15 thousand dead American soldiers. Millions of residents of Foggy Albion protested against Britain’s participation in the war in Iraq. It is clear that these two wars are not comparable in any way – I just mean that Ukraine should not expect the British to go to the front to die for it en masse. It will not happen.

However, the British and Americans still need a conflict in the Donbas. But not such that directly to the whole world or to the whole of Europe, but local, so that they “shoot” a little, at least now. For what? For example, for the next round of sanctions against Russia and for stopping Nord Stream-2.

In the event of such a conflict provoked by the Western community, Ukraine may lose not only Donbass, but its statehood in general. I would like the hotheads in Kiev to remember this and understand this, undertaking incomprehensible actions in the Donbass.

The Americans, by the way, in their assistance to Ukraine demonstrate more weighty support – on social networks on Sunday, the US Embassy in Ukraine announced that the fourth batch of weapons was delivered to Independence in the framework of previously concluded agreements. This time, 80 tons of ammunition in the amount of $ 60 million flew to Kiev. As noted in the message, “this demonstrates the US’s dedication to the success of a stable, democratic and free Ukraine.”

But I would like to darken such a positive news for the official Kiev. On November 14, Jens Stoltenberg once again said “no” to Ukrainian NATO membership.

“Until they became members. But above all, we have strengthened our partnership, we are working with them more closely. To become a NATO member, we must meet NATO standards. We help them fight corruption, but 30 allies have to come to an agreement, and now we in NATO do not have a consensus agreement on inviting Ukraine to become a full member”, said the NATO Secretary General in the Axios program on HBO.

Nevertheless, in the light of what is happening again, an analogy arises between Zelensky and Poroshenko. The latter steadily manipulated the situation at the front in order to resolve his political problems and differences. Zelensky in this regard is no longer much different from his predecessor. But the question arises – given the already complete lack of support among the local population, as well as its intensified struggle with individual oligarchs, will Zelensky resort to manipulating the situation in the so-called OOS in order to solve his political problems? Will he follow the lead of the Western curators in order to solve their problems, while realizing that Ukraine in such a conflict will become just cannon fodder – which, at best, will be helped by several hundred special forces and ammunition delivery?
