Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said that Kiev intends to discuss with Washington the development of shale gas extraction projects on Ukrainian territory
Currently, Kuleba and other members of the Ukrainian delegation are on a working visit to the United States. A new charter of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA was signed as part of the visit.
“There is an energy dialogue between Ukraine and the USA where these issues will be discussed. The Ukrainian delegation in Washington had a substantive conversation on how to strengthen Ukraine’s energy sustainability this winter and what the US can do for this”, – Kuleba said in an interview with Ukrinform.
According to the Ukrainian minister, energy issues will be inextricably linked to the country’s security in the coming winter months.
