Protests against the school system are growing in the US

US teachers unions have been reluctant to return children to public schools for over a year. Consequently, angry parents across the country are protesting and voting to recall members of the city’s school education committee. Fox News reports

“Unfortunately, the priorities of our school education committees are often extremely misplaced. In such challenging times, the decisions we make for our children will have long-term consequences. That’s why there is such a need for leaders who will tackle these issues decisively… The interests of our children must come first”, –  notes Democrat, Landon Breed.

The publication notes that in towns where the unions have had a lot of influence, schools have been closed without explanation. Angry parents intend to “destroy” the school system for leaving their children without a public education for over a year.

“Many parents who have seen schools remain closed for over a year unnecessarily are ready to destroy the system”, –  Fox News reports.

Recall that public schools for children from wealthy families were not closed and operated privately.
