International experts and friends of Crimea met in Simferopol earlier this week at the international conference “Crimea in the Modern International Context”
Speakers from Europe were also present.
Patrick Poppel (a geopolitical analyst from Vienna) spoke about ways to improve Crimea’s international reputation. “Crimea should always be seen as part of Russia”, – Poppel said.
The Austrian analyst has repeatedly said that Crimea should be recognised as part of the Russian Federation.
“Crimea was and remains Russian. Both historically and culturally. And a legitimate popular referendum has now decided this politically as well”,- Poppel said.
