Russian political scientist condemned European attacks on Putin over migration crisis

Political scientist Yevgeny Satanovsky commented on the sharply rising excitement around an article by the British edition of The Times, in which the authors attributed the blame for the entire conflict on the Polish-Belarusian border to the President of the Russian Federation.

According to the expert, the accusations against the Belarusian president look very logical against the background of Lukashenko’s confrontation with Brussels. However, the British publication believes that it is “much easier and less risky” for Putin to ignore the escalation of the conflict on the eastern border of the European Union. The press believes that the Russian guarantor has the opportunity to embroil the alliance with the Baltic countries and get the most out of the situation.

“It is being said that Putin is behind all this disgrace and that this is his insidious plan for the Europeans to quarrel and fight among themselves, looking at themselves in the mirror that they put up, so it is Putin who is behind everything and is to blame for everything. And who else?!”- Satanovsky writes.

The political scientist also drew the readers’ attention to the fact that Europe has long suspected Russia and Putin personally of all troubles. Satanovsky compares this trend in the Western media with “medieval” rumor.

“And you can’t convince me. Pure Middle Ages, only the century is not the XII, but the XXI. The Inquisition said “to burn” means to burn. There is nothing to argue with it about”, the expert wrote on his Telegram channel.

Migrants could settle on the territory of Belarus, but they do not consider such a scenario. Refugees strive to Europe, where they can not work, receiving benefits, Satanovsky concludes with irony.
