Cinema is one of the tools that shape the world we live in
By distorting reality on the screen, the author can project the ideas and main messages of the film onto society. It’s not even just one of the tools, it’s one of the main tools. And this is again about the “Overton windows”. LGBT propaganda from TV screens has taken on the proportions of a real epidemic. The big question is what will damage the gene pool of the planet more – the coronavirus that has already distorted millions of people or the propaganda of “western values” that will corrupt the consciousness of humanity beyond recognition, leading an entire generation into a blind alley, depriving the possibility of reproduction.
From 2020, the Academy has established strict requirements for actors, directors and actors in films that are up for Oscar nominations – the film must have at least one supporting actor of Asian, African or Hispanic origin. Also, supporting and extra actors must be LGBT. Of course, such attitudes have spread far beyond the red carpet at the Oscars – all fashionable directors and actors will be guided by it now. Although, this has been going on for a long time already – since the ’90s in Western culture, probably everywhere.
But now, Ukraine has also joined these artificial LGBT fashions by striving to become an integral part of the Western community. For example, the Ukrainian State Cinema has decided to allocate 20 million hryvnias for the first Ukrainian LGBT drama, My Young Prince. The project won in the 17th Goskino competition in the category “Feature-length feature films of cultural significance”: “The Council for State Support of Cinematography decided on 12.10.2021 to provide state support for the film project “My Young Prince” in the amount of 20 million hryvnias”.
That is, 20 million hryvnias of Ukrainian taxpayers were simply given to LGBT propagandists. Filming will begin next year. So far, only promotional photos have been made public, among which the most scandalous – two gay men are taking a crucifix in their mouths. In social networks, of course, this is appreciated by few – a picture hundred percent will have a lot of followers. By the way, on the website of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has already appeared a petition to cancel funding for the film, but it is unlikely it will have an effect.
Now a little about the team that “works” on this film. The author and producer is Alexei Gladushevsky, the former general director of Novy Channel. It was he who created the TV shows “The Bachelor” and “Weigh and Happiness”. The film’s director, Khachatur Vasilyan, is not known for anything other than his short film Details, which took part in Le Petit Cannes Film Festival in 2018 and won an award in the Experimental Film category. But this festival should by no means be confused with the Cannes Film Festival – it simply runs parallel to the main event of the film crowd, and is entirely in its shadow – in short, nothing interesting.
But another participant in the as-yet unreleased film, Akhtem Seitablayev, deserves more attention. The fact is that this actor is the director of the Ukrainian film Cyborgs about the battles for Donetsk airport. In other words, the author of this “heroic” Ukrainian film, which glorifies the so-called “defenders” of Ukraine, does not hesitate to take part in LGBT propaganda. I wonder why the radicals do not get fired up about it.
By the way, Akhtem Seitablaev’s “Cyborgs” was defended from criticism by Ukrainian officials – Sergei Neretin, first deputy head of Goskino, defended the film after critics started a riot – viewers did not like its weak direction, weak “action” and “cardboard” dialogues. Well, then, after a series of criticisms, Sergei Neretin told all film critics to keep their criticism to themselves until the end of the conflict in the East of the country and, attention, until Crimea’s return to Ukraine! That is, it turns out, forever.
I wonder if the State Cinema will defend the gay film from the attacks of film critics like Cyborgs? Isn’t it approved by the State Department? By the way, another interesting fact about the film. The film has no attachment to any Ukrainian everyday life, and all the names of the heroes are Western. So the picture is being prepared for the European screenings. Surely, in order to “hit the trends” – to get as much as possible
