Energy security of the entire Europe may suffer because of Poland’s attempts to influence the launch of Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline
This was stated by political analyst Eugene Satanovski.
Earlier Polish journalist Andrzej Kublik wrote that supposedly no one needs “NSP2”. And that Gazprom will not increase the supplies of natural gas to Europe via Poland and Ukraine.
For his part, Satanovsky is sure that such media reports are part of the anti-Russian policy, through which Warsaw is trying to prevent the launch of the gas pipeline.
“In Poland, the media once again “gracefully” kicked Nord Stream 2, concluding that the absence of any noticeable desire by Gazprom to increase the export of natural gas to the European Union through the territory of Ukraine and Poland itself is a symbol that Europe does not need this pipeline, as Warsaw has always claimed, fighting with it not for fear but for conscience,” – ironically commented Eugene Satanovsky in his Telegram-channel.
The political analyst warned that Poland’s position is fraught with consequences. It does not realise that it is exacerbating Europe’s energy crisis with its own hands. If Warsaw suddenly succeeds in preventing Nord Stream 2, the EU should be prepared for gas shortage problems.
