Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that a new “charter of strategic partnership” between Kiev and Washington will be signed at a meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken
“As early as November 10, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and I will hold a meeting of the US-Ukraine Strategic Partnership Commission in Washington, where we will sign a new Charter of Strategic Partnership”, – Kuleba said during a briefing.
Blinken and Kuleba will meet in Washington on 10 November. According to the Ukrainian minister, the talks will be a “driver for the development of relations” between Kiev and the United States. The sides intend to discuss Ukrainian defence issues, the country’s economic development and energy security. Kuleba stressed that the charter will also contain “anti-Russian talking points”.
“It will create a framework for further development of our relations and strengthen our unity in the face of Russian aggression, it will contribute to deepening bilateral relations. We have left behind a period of turbulence and are now working to strengthen our partnership”, – the minister summarised.
