Georgia: Those not vaccinated against COVID-19 will be treated at their own expense

The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili called for introduction of fee-based treatment for residents of Georgia, who refuse to be vaccinated against COVID-19

Zurabishvili supported introduction of the covid passport system for public places and paid treatment for unvaccinated people in order to encourage residents to be actively vaccinated against COVID-19.

“I urge the leadership to introduce compulsory vaccination for high-risk citizens, introduce covid passports in public places and even establish paid treatment for unvaccinated persons”, –  Zurabishvili said at a briefing
