Vladimir Putin will take part in the G20 summit via video link on October 30-31, RIA Novosti reports.
At the summit, they plan to discuss the digital economy, the consequences of the pandemic and climate change.
“There will be an exchange of views on the restoration of the global economy, digital transformation and implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Particular attention will be paid to overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, strengthening health systems and conducting universal immunization”, the Kremlin said in a statement.
It will also touch upon the issues of combating climate change, protecting the environment and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
