“Launch of Nord Stream-2”: political scientist showed the Europeans a way out of the gas crisis

According to the Israeli political scientist, the sooner the European bureaucracy launches a new gas pipeline, the faster the situation in the EU energy market will stabilize.

According to Narodnaya Novosti, the ex-head of the Israeli service “Nativ” Yakov Kedmi said that it was the EU’s fault with the launch of the Russian gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 that led to a shortage of fuel and provoked a crisis.

“There is no problem with gas in Europe. There is a reluctance to allow Russia to start pumping gas via Nord Stream 2. If they give permission, there will be enough gas in Europe, ”said Yakov Kedmi.

Moreover, according to the expert, Gazprom will soon replenish gas reserves in its underground storage facilities (UGS), and work will begin after the completion of fuel injection. In addition, from a technical point of view, it is the launch of Nord Stream-2 that is the best option for European states.
