Japan’s deputy cabinet secretary Isozaki said he was concerned about China’s military modernisation, RIA Novosti reported
Japan, like other countries in the region, is concerned about China’s military modernisation and expansion of its military activities, Yoshihiko Isozaki, Japan’s Deputy Cabinet Secretary General, said during a press conference on Thursday.
“We are aware of the remarks made by General Mark Milley, chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces. We have seen China’s active development of hypersonic and nuclear weapons technology aimed at developing an offensive force capable of overcoming missile defenses. My country, like other countries in the region, and the international community have serious security concerns about China’s rapidly increasing military capabilities and military buildup”, – Isozaki said.
