Peskov said that the supply of Turkish UAVs to Ukraine will lead to destabilization in Donbass

The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the supply of Bayraktar strike drones from Turkey to Ukraine could lead to a serious destabilization of the situation in Donbass, reports TASS.

“We really have special and good relations with Turkey, but in this case, unfortunately, our fears are confirmed that the supply of such types of weapons to the Ukrainian military could potentially lead to destabilization of the situation on the contact line,” Peskov said.

According to him, such weapons in the hands of the Ukrainian military, which the country’s armed forces can use in the territory of Donbass, do not “contribute to the settlement of this internal Ukrainian problem.”

Recall that on October 26, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the information that the Kiev security forces for the first time used the Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle Bayraktar in Donbass.
