German Ambassador to Russia Geza Andreas von Geir announced the preparation of a meeting of foreign ministers in the Normandy format, TASS reports.
A meeting of the heads of ministries of foreign countries of the Normandy Four – Germany, Russia, Ukraine and France is being prepared, but the date has not yet been determined, the German ambassador to Russia said.
“During the last meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that a summit meeting in the Normandy format should be held. Foreign ministers will meet to prepare for such a meeting. As far as I know, preparations for a meeting of foreign ministers are underway, but the exact date of such a meeting has not yet been set”, he said.
