Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov has said that Poland has lost the gas war “on all counts”
“The long and persistent battle against Russian gas supplies to Europe turned out to be a pointless waste of effort and opportunities”, – the parliamentarian wrote in his Telegram channel.
Now Europe has realised that it cannot survive without Russian gas. Meanwhile, official Warsaw continues to unsuccessfully blame Russia for the gas crisis and even tries to bully Germany, “but it comes out pitiful and vindictive – and again senseless”. – Pushkov summed up.
Earlier, Polish Climate and Environment Minister Michal Kurtyka demanded that the European Commission look into whether Gazprom had anything to do with the shortage of gas on the European market.
Recall that “Gazprom” in September announced the full completion of the construction of “Nord Stream 2”, and since June, the work on certification of the pipeline operator as an independent to start supplying gas.
