Drones strike US military base in Syria

In southern Syria, the US military base of Al-Tanf has been hit by missiles and strikes from five drones

According to media reports, barracks and outbuildings were targeted. Fires broke out after the strikes, and there were no reports of casualties or injuries.

It should be recalled that this is not the first warning to the US that it is time to withdraw from Syria. In late June, a US base in Deir ez-Zor came under missile attack. At the time, the US Defense Department blamed the Shiites and Iran.

“There are now around 900 US troops in Syria. In August, SANA reported the transfer of 40 IS fighters to the US base from prisons, including one of the ringleaders and a bomb maker. This operation was pulled off “in order to implement Washington’s plans in the region”, –  military correspondent Kotenok noted.

It is worth noting that the Americans are deployed not only at the Al-Tanf base, but also at the oil fields in the east of the SAR. There they are covering up the theft by Washington, which is pumping and selling the black gold to the side without permission from Damascus
