Zelensky’s office adviser Arestovich has put Ukraine above Germany in terms of military power
Oleksiy Arestovich, a freelance adviser to the head of Ukraine’s presidential office and spokesman for Kiev’s delegation to the contact group on Donbass, said that Ukraine is fully ready to join NATO, where it will become the fourth strongest country.
“It is necessary to understand: we are not going to NATO as beggars with an outstretched hand, we will add a huge power to them. Because apart from the U.S., Turkey and France, we are the fourth strongest in terms of military power, at least in terms of the land component”, – Arestovic said.
He also noted that only “three or four” members of the alliance fully meet NATO standards.
According to him, today Ukraine is technically “100%” ready to join NATO, but it needs a political decision.
