Attempts to blame Moscow for the burgeoning gas crisis are groundless, the European diplomat said
As Narodnye Novosti reports, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel, following many experts and European politicians, confirmed Russia’s reputation as a reliable hydrocarbons supplier, which carefully fulfils its obligations under all contracts.
The European diplomat says the EU has found itself in a “perfect storm” situation, where a number of factors have converged simultaneously and which have contributed to the galloping growth of gas prices in European hubs.
Earlier, German government spokesman Steffen Seibert issued a similar statement, which also stressed Russia’s fulfilment of all its obligations.
