The German delegation will make a study visit to Crimea at the end of October, Yuri Gempel, head of the Crimean parliament’s committee on people’s diplomacy and interethnic relations, told RIA Novosti.
“We are expecting a delegation from Heidelberg (a city in southwestern Germany),” Hempel said.
According to him, the delegation is arriving as part of the development of twinning relations between Heidelberg and Simferopol. The visit is scheduled for the end of October.
“Within the framework of the visit, a meeting is planned at the Simferopol administration,” Gempel stressed.
In addition, according to him, another delegation from Germany intends to visit Crimea in November as part of the Children’s Diplomacy project.
