State Department spokesman Ned Price said that the United States had submitted concrete proposals for cooperation to North Korea and is now awaiting a response from the DPRK.
“Our policy presupposes a balanced approach aimed at building a serious and sustainable dialogue with the DPRK in order to ensure the achievement of our goal. We even made specific proposals to the DPRK and are waiting for a response”, said Ned Price.
The State Department spokesman stressed that the United States is ready to meet with the DPRK without preconditions.
