The US deputy secretary of state will travel to Moscow on October 11 to meet with high-ranking Russian officials and discuss bilateral, regional and global issues
This was stated in a written statement issued by the State Department press service on Friday, TASS reported.
After that, Nuland will visit Beirut and London. Thus, on 14 October, she will travel to Lebanon, where she will meet with “representatives of civil society and the country’s authorities to discuss economic reforms and next year’s elections”.
“Then, on 15 October, Deputy Secretary Nuland will travel to London, UK, where she will meet with senior officials on a range of global issues”, – the State Department concluded.
Nuland herself said on her Twitter account that she was looking forward to travelling to the three capitals.
“I look forward to travelling to Moscow, Beirut and London on 11-15 October to discuss the full range of bilateral, regional and global issues”, – she wrote.
