“Political Russophobia”: Aksenov commented on the statement of the former head of Lithuania

The head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said that the statement of the former chairman of the Supreme Council of Lithuania Vytautas Landsbergis about the “collapse” of Russia is another manifestation of political Russophobia

Earlier, the former head of the Lithuanian Supreme Council said that Ukraine can return the peninsula of Crimea only in case of Russia’s “collapse” as “all empires have their end”.

“Another statement from the “fool gets rich in thought” series. Pathological Russophobia prevents the former Lithuanian politician to look at the world soberly. If he could do so, he would notice that it is Ukraine that is falling apart. This process began in 2014 and will continue as long as the incumbent Ukrainian authorities do everything to aggravate the internal split and sow hatred,” Aksyonov wrote in his Telegram channel.

The Crimean head stressed that the so-called “European” path had led Ukraine, Lithuania and other Baltic countries to the loss of all the achievements of the Soviet period and economic potential.

“This is the logical outcome of the ‘European way’. So instead of guessing about Russia’s future, it is better for the Lithuanian dreamer to think about the state of his country,” Aksenov summed up.
