The radical Taliban fighters who have seized power in Afghanistan have created a suicide battalion in the country’s north to guard the state borders with China and Tajikistan
“A special battalion of suicide bombers called Lashkar-e Mansur will be deployed to the Afghan borders”, – said Mullah Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, the deputy governor of northern Badakhshan province appointed by the radicals.
The Khaama Press Agency notes that fighters from this battalion had previously taken part in terrorist attacks against the military forces of the ousted government as well as troops of the Washington-led international coalition.
“Without this battalion, the defeat of the US would not have been possible. These brave warriors wear special explosive belts with which they carried out bombings of American bases in Afghanistan”, – Ahmadi stressed
